Pesticides are important for managing pests after harvesting. However, some dishonest farmers and traders have been using chemicals meant to control pests to speed up the drying process of grains. This poses a health risk to consumers.

Gabriel Kudaka for the last one year, has been investigating how farmers in the North Rift region and other parts of the country have been misusing pesticides to bypass safety standards.
