The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry, referring to the data from the Ukrainian State Customs Service, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In particular, this marketing year Ukraine has already exported 11.67 million tonnes of wheat, 2.11 million tonnes of barley, 10.8 thousand tonnes of rye, and 13.78 million tonnes of corn.
Additionally, as of February 19, 2025, Ukraine shipped 46.1 thousand tonnes of flour (compared to 71.7 thousand tonnes during the same period last year), including 42.6 thousand tonnes of wheat flour.
In February 2025, Ukraine exported 2.3 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops (compared to 3.18 million tonnes during the same period last year).
A reminder that, in 2024, Ukraine’s state budget received the highest amount of excise tax payments from the agricultural sector, totaling UAH 105.2 billion. Of this sum, UAH 85.9 billion (81.7%) came as payments for domestically-produced agricultural products.
