This collaboration aims to integrate WFP’s expertise in humanitarian operations with KSA’s space technology capabilities to drive innovation in food security, disaster response, and logistics optimization. The partnership will leverage satellite capabilities to support agricultural monitoring, climate resilience, and emergency preparedness.

The Letter of Intent lays the foundation for a formal partnership agreement between WFP Kenya and KSA, providing a framework for collaboration in food security, AI and Machine learning, capacity building, and real-time satellite imagery for emergency response.

Both leaders reiterated their commitment to jointly secure the socio-economic development of the country through the use of innovation and technology.
