Sebaggala  Kigozi the commissioner for electoral commission has advised vision group to consider extending the days of the Harvest Money expo to allow other people from far distances take part.

Speaking during the ongoing expo at Nambole Stadium, Sebaggala highlightened the importance of increasing the days as a great benefit to people, especially the youth.

“I am very great full that a big number of farmers have turned up, I wish to applaud you for the good mobilization done. The arrangement its self has been the best compared to last year,“ said Ssebaggala.

He, however, underscored the need to organise the expo with consideration of the next season so that the knowledge gained and the excitement can be translated into action through planting.

“Farmers need knowledge more as the next season approaches so that they can put into action what they have learnt,” he said.

He advised the youth who spend much of their time in riding boda-bodas to spare some time and practice urban farming saying the money they spend on buying daily means, they can use it for developing themselves.

Sebaggala, who is also a small holder farmer in passion fruit, Matooke, Gonja and cassava advised those aspiring to join agriculture to always have the zeal and the determination to begin.
